Terms of Service

Welcome to GlobeKit. By downloading, installing, or using the GlobeKit mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

GlobeKit is an AI-powered travel dining assistant that provides menu translation, currency conversion, and bill-splitting features. The App is provided by Archie Design App LLC ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Anonymous Accounts

GlobeKit uses anonymous authentication. No personal registration is required. An anonymous account is automatically created on your device to store your scan history and preferences. You are responsible for any activity that occurs through your device.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

3.1 Plans

GlobeKit offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans (Pro and Pro+) unlock additional scan quotas and an ad-free experience. Subscription details and pricing are displayed in the App.

3.2 Billing

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

3.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policies. We do not directly process refunds.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Abuse the scanning service by submitting non-menu content or automated bulk requests.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App or its content.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, AI models, and content, is owned by Archie Design App LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. AI Translation Disclaimer

AI translations are provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, translations may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the correctness of any translation.

Allergy and dietary warning: Do not rely solely on GlobeKit translations for allergy information or dietary restrictions. Always confirm ingredients and allergens directly with restaurant staff. We are not responsible for any adverse reactions resulting from reliance on AI translations.

7. Currency Conversion Disclaimer

Exchange rates are provided for reference only and may not reflect real-time rates. Actual conversion rates at the point of payment may differ. We are not responsible for any financial decisions made based on the exchange rates displayed in the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Archie Design App LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted within the App and on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.
